Cage's Deli Late in the afternoon, I played this cassette on my portable walkman outside on the balcony while I gathered the old soil and the final remains of my vegetable garden at the end of another short growing season (at least where I live). Now I just have empty pots. My dirty garden gloves meant that the loud volume set on the tape player was not going to change. One radio for all the neighbourhood. The nights are getting colder now, but it's really nothing new, and the music it keeps repeating...

Vaporwave de radio AM grabado en una de las fechas patrias argentinas, que se caracteriza principalmente por la ingesta de delicioso locro.

Matta abarca varios frentes de la memoria presentando música que tiene un ligero tinte de los años 90 y que se mete directamente en el inconsciente: crea falsos recuerdos. Tenemos la sensación de haber escuchado todo esto antes, sin realmente haberlo hecho.

Escuchar en la oscuridad (ó con luz tenue), a solas, pensando en las grandes extensiones del globo en donde solamente llegaba la radio.

AM Vaporwave recorded on one of the most important argetinian festivities (The May revolution of 1810, the first steps into the independence of Spain), mostly known for the delicious popular dish that is served on each table on that date: Locro.

Matta attacks various columns of memories, presenting music and sounds that has somewhat a tiny reminiscent of the 90s. He gets trought or brain creating false memories of a non distant past (say 15 or most years ago)

Listen to it in darkness (or low light), alone, thinking in the great extentions of the globe in where the radio was the main medium of contact.
